2 days of work in 70 seconds… looks quick in a timelapse, doesn’t it? 😂

Sheet by sheet, line by line… the way is long hahaha.

But we enjoy the journey when we already know how good the result is going to be. 👀

Curved walls, mosaics and a little bit of patience…
Trust the process. 🤌

Week 2 on this project. 👊

After screeding and laying the floor in the first week, the walls are now done — just grout and silicone left to complete the first of three bathrooms.

I think the combination of these tiles with the curved mosaic wrapping around the curved walls is just gorgeous. It gives the whole bathroom that warm, timeless aesthetic that never really goes out of style.

But we want to hear from you — what do you think of this combination?

Stay tuned to see how it all comes together once it’s grouted and finished. 👀

1200x600 tiles throughout, keeping the layout clean and consistent from floor to walls.

The large format means fewer grout lines, less visual interruption and a much more open feeling — especially in a narrow space like this.

But the part we like most?
That full-width feature shelf. 🔥
Built into the layout, fully tiled and designed to look like it belongs there rather than being added afterwards.

Big tiles don't make small spaces feel smaller.
Done properly, they do exactly the opposite.
Still a few finishing touches to go, but the tiling is done. ✔️

1200x600 in a small bathroom? Absolutely. 👌

Large-format tiles aren’t just for big spaces. With fewer grout lines and a cleaner, more continuous finish, they can actually make a small bathroom feel bigger, more open and less busy.

Less interruption. More flow. More space — at least to the eye. 👀

Sometimes, going bigger is exactly what a small space needs.

52m².
140 × 70 mm handmade tiles.
5,300+ tiles.
30 metres of mitred finishes.

Don't chase being the fastest guy on site.
Chase being the guy people trust to get it right.

Speed gets you today's pay. Quality gets you tomorrow's phone call.

Be proud of what you do.

I hope you guys like it!!

I don't know about you guys, but large-format natural travertine slabs are just on another level.

My background in Italy and New Zealand gave me years of experience working with large-format slabs, so it's great to finally bring that expertise to Australia.

They're not easy to work with. Their size demands the right equipment, the right planning, and, most importantly, the right experience.

But look at this finish, Fewer joints. Less grout. More natural stone on display.

The result is a cleaner, more seamless and timeless finish that simply can't be replicated with smaller tiles.

To me, this is what true luxury looks like!

Would you choose large-format slabs for your next project?
