We all start somewhere! 9 yrs ago I got my first sunroof commodore and I had to get the sagging lining fixed. Quoted $700!!! Was too broke so attempted myself. After 1 failed attempt and ripping it all off and starting again i got it glued under the seams, all nice and tight and cut perfectly to the sunroof hole which I screwed up the first time. From there friends and family wanted theres done and built my skills on all sorts of linings while i worked as the installer at Autobarn. This was my first real challenge and it taught me a lot.
I had this car immaculate for an old vt and even replaced and fabric softened a new carpet, suede underdash and 2 different styles of black pillars by the end! Had a custom front end and full senator rear end. Oh man I loved this car but also it taught me the basics and since have worked on hundreds of cars interiors making them as clean or better as factory and seeing peoples reactions is amazing!! 👌
