Front yard cleanup and artificial turf preparation completed ✅

All unwanted vegetation, old garden material and debris removed, with the area excavated and levelled ready for the next stage.

Another yard opened up and ready for a fresh new look!

🏊 POOL DIG DONE AND DUSTED!

Pool excavation completed for Anthony Trapani and the team at Legacy Homes Australia — finished on time and ready for the next stage.

The Hitachi worked through the hard, rocky ground to shape the pool while carefully operating close to the house and boundary fence. It’s now ready for the steelwork and sprayed-concrete pool construction.

Thanks to Legacy Homes Australia for getting Gravel & Gear involved, and to Dirt Cheap for supplying the materials for the job.

Something a little different for Gravel & Gear 👌

We recently had the opportunity to work alongside Fodico Marine on the salvage and dismantling of the Lady Kendall II at Mooloolaba.

A vessel many will remember from her Starship Cruises days, the Lady Kendall II unfortunately sank at her berth before being recovered and dismantled.

Gravel & Gear assisted with the removal and cartage of the vessel as it was dismantled.

Definitely not an everyday job — and pretty interesting to be involved in the final chapter of a well-known piece of Queensland maritime history.

Wrapping up a great few months working alongside LS Plant Hire and Global Turf.

I’d like to say a big thank you to both teams for the opportunity. It was a pleasure being part of the project and working with such a professional crew. I appreciate the support, teamwork, and the relationships built along the way.

This old tank didn’t stand a chance.
Full demolition and cleanup completed using our Hitachi ZX65 and tipper setup — breaking it down safely, loading out the concrete, and leaving the area ready for what’s next.

Big jobs, tight access, no dramas. 👌
