We have been sourcing our hardwood timber from Julian Sharp from Peppermint Mill in Pemberton. Julian  planted a variety of hardwood species on his property 30+ years ago. This timber has travelled less than 100 kms to reach the where we are using Yellow Stringy Bark, Southern Mahgony and Mountain Ash as natural edged cladding 🌿

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Construction Manager with a passion for sustainability to join the New Earth team.

We specialize in timber framed construction, h**pcrete, and tiny homes throughout the Margaret River region.

Previous experience of construction management, site supervisor or a lead hand carpenter is required.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling projects
Managing and organising trades and materials
Estimating & costings - experience in Cubit desirable
Site supervisor
Safety management

This is a part time role with approx 30 hours per week and applicants must be able to work from our Forest Grove office.

Forget the conventional portaloo - you can now go green during your build with these building site compost loos! 🌳💚

They're already being used at the groundbreaking new Witchcliffe Ecovillage being built in the Margaret River region. Water Wally has been working on the idea with Brendan Kelly from sustainable building company New Earth Living. Brendan is calling these site toilets “New Earth Loos” and they're available for builders and trades to use instead of the standard chemical portaloos.

New Earth Loos are waterless, composting toilets - a sustainable alternative to portaloos, with the compost managed on site. Now that's better than an egg from the Easter bunny 👍🐰

All wrapped up like a Christmas present 🎁
All hands on deck this week with fitting out the plumbing pre-lay, our boiler maker adding a few final touches to the bay window and Brendan completing the electrical wiring 🛠
