This little guy caught my attention today, while I had my head down clearing some old flowers and I couldn’t look away from his little saddle bags full of pollen!

After some googling it turns out this is how they bring back food to the hive which is full of protein for the developing larvae 🤯 how cool!

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Hydroseeding has officially arrived at Lawn In Order!

Hydroseeding is a modern way of establishing a new lawn by spraying a specially blended mix of grass seed, fertiliser, mulch and tackifier onto prepared soil.

The result? A healthy, even lawn that’s particularly cost effective for larger areas compared with laying traditional turf.

We’re so excited to finally bring this service to the Mid Coast!

If you’ve been thinking about a new lawn, send us a message and let’s chat! 🌱

Cheeky week up in Pimpama for one of our clients who needed an urgent “just do it.” ✅

We gave the property a complete clean up and future proofed it with a low maintenance landscape that’s much easier to manage for years to come, as well as opening up a heap of light🌿

Pt.3 RYE OVERSOW!!
Rye is a cool season grass (thrives in 10-24°C), meaning, as our couch slows down into dormancy the rye will overtake as a lush green lawn.

This is our first time experimenting with this process, and we are planning to have this as an additional service as of next Autumn!

Pt.2
10mm Top Dressing with sand to level out a lot of the bumps that were showing up with our cylinder mower.

The reason we’re using sand is that organic matter breaks down over time, whereas sand stays stable and helps create a smoother, more consistent surface long term.

Sadly there’s no nutrients in sand, so we’ll be using some amazing products from to feed the lawn what it needs.
