Hope everyone had a great Chrissy and new year! We’ve been working round the clock. It’s set to be a great year ahead.

Just a friendly reminder to check or have an electrician check your smoke alarms are in good working order to alert you and your family in the case of an emergency. 🔥

23/1/24 01:09am Forbes crew responded to a 000 call stating a house Fire in South Forbes,

On arrival of first appliance crew found house to be well alight and additional resources were called,

Second appliance along with NSW Rural Fire Service arrived and assisted crews with fire attack followed by Essential Energy who arrived to cut all power to property,

Occupants were all accounted for and assessed by NSW Ambulance,

Fire and Rescue NSW Station 417 Parkes were also responded but were thankfully not required,

Once Fire was extinguished crews investigated along with Central West Police and property handover was completed.

Crew then returned to station,

Home owner was alerted to fire by a Working Smoke Alarm if you require your smoke alarm to be checked please contact your local Fire Station
