Meet Dougy… aka Dean Lillecrapp!
If you’ve spent any time around the Clare Valley ag industry, chances are you’ve already met Dougy.
Growing up on a sheep station in Outback South Australia, agriculture has always been in his blood. Over the years he’s worked across sheep stations, drilling, fencing, transport and broadacre farming before progressing to Farm Manager of a large family-owned mixed farming enterprise.
With decades of hands-on farming experience, Dougy understands the challenges producers face because he’s lived them.
Seeing the future of agriculture moving towards precision technology, he threw himself into learning everything he could about agricultural drones. After countless hours of study, training and gaining the required qualifications, he launched Dougy’s Drones & Rural Contracting in January 2025.
Today, Dougy works with growers across South Australia, delivering efficient, precise and practical drone solutions, including:
