WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG TO INSTALL SOLAR.....

To do it properly there is a long of work involved in removing existing hatches, antennas, sate dishes, old air conditioners, rangehood vents, fridge vents... the list is long...and varies from job to job, from caravan manufacturer to caravan manufacturer..

Removing, Cleaning, Repairing, Measuring, Replacing, Patching, Cleaning, Sealing, Testing, and Testing Again and again.

So, yes, upgrading solar is not a quick or easy job, it takes skill, experience, knowledge precision, expertise, practice and CARE FACTOR PLUS!

BUT it doesn’t stop there:
🔧 Solar installation and quality fittings make a difference; value quality to save in the long run.
🔌 Solar configurations: Series or parallel; it’ll depend on various factors such as battery voltages and the overall electrical design philosophy.
⚡️ Solar capabilities are delivered or bottlenecked by the right choice of solar regulators. Getting this right makes all the difference.
🔋 Solar output: LV or HV (see above).
🏷️ Solar brand & technology: We’ve tested and tried many; believe us, they’re not all equal.
📏 Solar requirements need to be considered alongside battery size, backup power, and your caravanning lifestyle.
🌏 Solar to suit your caravanning lifestyle: All things considered; geography, season, and whether it’s your home on wheels will drive the ultimate solution for your solar yield needs.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Network RV Pty Ltd, Network Engineering Pty Ltd, and Fair Dinkum Caravans Pty Ltd have entered Voluntary Administration, with SV Partners appointed as Joint and Several Voluntary Administrators on 11 June 2026.

The Administrators have commenced an urgent review of the companies' financial position, operations, customer orders, inventory, manufacturing capability, and overall viability. Their objective is to explore restructuring and recapitalisation opportunities to preserve value in the businesses and maximise returns to creditors.

The process will include:
✔️ Seeking expressions of interest from strategic and financial investors
✔️ Investigating potential sale opportunities for some or all business assets
✔️ Considering restructuring proposals through a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA)
