One of our most recent bathroom renovations certainly kept us busy from the ground up.

Designing a practical and free-flowing layout presented several challenges, particularly with load-bearing walls and the integration of inbuilt sliding cavity doors. Through careful planning and construction, we were able to create a functional and adaptable space that perfectly suited our clients’ needs.

The finished result speaks for itself. This galley-style bathroom now offers exceptional manoeuvrability, combining accessibility with a modern European-inspired finish. Our clients selected marble-look Lamipanel wall cladding in place of traditional wall tiles, significantly reducing grout maintenance while delivering a seamless, high-end appearance that complements the tiled flooring beautifully.

With future accessibility in mind, the bathroom framing was specifically designed to accommodate additional grab rails if required later on. By retaining all framing heights and locations, any future additions can be installed quickly and efficiently.

If you’re considering a major renovation, contact Paul at Winch Building and Construction. We pride ourselves on delivering adaptable solutions for all types of renovations and building projects.

Our Deer Park deck build is almost complete, and with this beautiful autumn weather, we couldn’t resist sharing a couple of progress shots!

Once the clients have finished painting the balustrading at the end of the deck, we’ll move on to the final touch—installing SL81 reinforcement mesh to infill the balustrade openings.

This will create the perfect framework for a future creeper to grow through and truly bring the deck-end to life. 🌱

Stay tuned for the finished result!
