Malak Carpark – Project Complete ✅

Another project wrapped up by the Dolan Civil team, with the Malak Carpark upgrade now complete.

The finished works have delivered a fresh, functional and well presented space, including new pavement works, kerbing, concrete works, stormwater drainage, sewer works, line marking, lighting infrastructure and landscaping.

A great result from everyone involved, and a big thanks to our crews, subcontractors and suppliers for their contribution throughout the project.

A special thank you to City of Darwin for the opportunity to deliver the project and for their support and collaboration throughout the works.

Dolan Civil is looking for a Field Service Truck Operator to join our team, supporting our large fleet of civil construction and earthmoving equipment.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with mechanical experience, who enjoys working around heavy machinery and a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
✔ Carry out light plant maintenance
✔ Conduct refuelling operations
✔ Complete plant inspections
✔ Maintain accurate servicing and maintenance records
✔ Drive and operate an field service truck (HR)

About You
✔ Current HR Driver Licence – essential
✔ Mechanical experience or knowledge
✔ White Card – essential
✔ Ability to obtain a Police Check
✔ Experience operating a service truck preferred, but not essential
✔ Physically fit
✔ Strong commitment to safety
✔ Reliable with a positive attitude and good work ethic

We're Hiring: Heavy Diesel Fitter

Dolan Civil is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team, supporting pipeline and civil construction projects across the Northern Territory.

This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) position from Darwin, with a fully equipped service vehicle provided.

Successful applicants will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy civil construction plant, earthmoving equipment, trucks and associated machinery.

What We're Looking For
✔ Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter
✔ Experience maintaining and repairing civil construction, earthmoving or pipeline equipment
✔ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
✔ Ability to work independently in remote locations
✔ Current driver's licence
✔ Commitment to safety, quality workmanship

What a fantastic Saturday afternoon spent with our team, partners and families enjoying a bit of friendly competition and great company. From some surprisingly accurate bowls to a few that had minds of their own, there was no shortage of entertainment. 🙂

We're incredibly fortunate to have such a hardworking group and a culture that values both teamwork and having a bit of fun along the way

🚛 The newest addition to our fleet has just rolled into town... VAC05!

A huge thank you to our partners at VTI — Matt, Ned, Jayden and the team for their ongoing support, another quality build.

As with all our vacuum excavation trucks, this unit comes equipped with our usual specification:

✅ 10,000L spoil capacity
✅ 4,000L water capacity
✅ 2,500 CFM blower
✅ 6" boom assembly with suction hose

These trucks are constantly evolving, and some of the latest upgrades include:

🔹 Vibrating tank for handling stubborn spoil
🔹 Visual tank capacity indicator for improved operator awareness
🔹 60m fixed jetter reel for drain cleaning applications
🔹 Rear-mounted pedestrian and traffic warning board for enhanced safety around work zones
