Big milestone over in WA 👌

We’ve just wrapped up the second of three SIPS installations in Perth, working alongside the legends at Greenline Homes. It’s been a great opportunity to not only install these high-performance systems, but also provide tech support and hands-on training with the local carpentry crews.

Seeing the shift happening across the construction industry in WA is exciting. More clients are asking better questions, looking beyond appearances, and focusing on how a home actually performs, from comfort and energy efficiency to long-term durability.

With a background in teaching and years spent running small businesses, Nicole brings the people-first approach to everything we do. From keeping projects moving behind the scenes to supporting clients through the building journey, she’s the calm voice, the organiser, and the one always looking for a better way to do things.

Nicole and David built Hycon Homes around a simple idea: homes should feel good to live in, warm, efficient, comfortable, and built to last. What started as a backyard SIPS bungalow quickly turned into a passion for changing the way Australians build.

When she’s not helping steer the Hycon ship, you’ll usually find Nicole involved in the local community, organising events, supporting local groups, or enjoying life on the farm with family, chooks, cattle, and Peggy the pig 🐷
