This week we have been in Cessnock painting just the walls of this investment property, ready for new tenants in the coming weeks. We had our work cut out for us due to the way the gyprock was installed - there were a heap of patches needing to be done and many movement cracks that needed to be scraped out and re-set.
We would have loved to have done the whole house because it would’ve been an even bigger transformation, but it came up great in the end!

Deb & Pete in Tacoma had me come in to do a little freshen up of the walls and woodwork in their home. I got a colour match as close as possible to the existing wall colour, then coated the woodwork in Elusive White to cover the old, yellowing doors & framing.

Finished this little job for Jeff. He was happy with the blue frames and fascia as they are, so only the eaves and walls needed a spruce up! After a thorough sanding, a lot of sweeping away webs and dust followed by some gap filling, we were ready to apply topcoats.

We finished the exterior walls in Taubmans Allweather Low Sheen - Facemark to take it from an older, dull yellow to a more vibrant golden yellow/orange. The colour may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no denying the property stands out!

Finished this interior for Ian and Bron in Toronto, now I was a little to keen to get started on this one and forgot to take before photos but take my word when I say it needed a fair bit of work to get it ready for finished costs.

Walls and frames were colour matched to previous colour, walls in full strength and frames in half strength to give it a little difference. Ceilings were finished in elusive white.

This job was a couple of months ago in Belmont. It was already in fairly good condition, but a few bigger patches on the ceilings, walls and gloss had begun yellowing so it needed a freshen up through the loungeroom, hallway and kitchen/dining areas.
The floorboards were brand new so it was imperative that not a single drop of paint touched them. To ensure this, we covered every square inch in paper and taped it up - skip to the end photos to see the steps we take to ensure no paint gets where it shouldn’t, and how we minimise dust getting on your appliances and furniture.

Back at redhead for Accommodation Around Newcastle to do this massive exterior. Being right near the beach the salt water erodes surfaces much quicker so a lot of prep was needed. It took some work to get it done but really happy with the outcome.

The new colours really freshened up its appearance.
Frames and doors finished in Taubmans oil based gloss - Lexicon 1/4.
Weather boards finished in Taubmans All Weather - Shale Grey.
Render, fascia and gutters finished in Taubmans All Weather - Basalt.

This air bnb in Redhead for Accommodation Around Newcastle has been our biggest job yet and we all couldn’t be happier with the end result!

From dark stained timber work and dull walls to cool and warm whites to really freshen the place up! Ceilings & rafters were finished in Taubmans Elusive White Ceiling Flat, walls were finished in Taubmans Endure Natural White Low sheen and all woodwork was finished in Taubmans Lexicon 1/4 Full Gloss Enamel.
