A NEW GRANDSTAND FOR IPSWICH SPORT | We’re proud to be delivering a project that will bring lasting benefits to the Ipswich community.

Buildcorp has been appointed to deliver the Western Grandstand at North Ipswich Reserve, a key stage in the $40 million Sport and Entertainment Precinct transformation. This next phase will strengthen a much-loved community asset and support the future of sport and events in the region.

Working in close partnership with Ipswich City Council, Blight Rayner Architecture, RP Infrastructure and the design team, we’ve aligned design, budget and vision to deliver the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.

The new 2,000-seat grandstand, combined with upgraded amenities and public realm improvements, including a new plaza, improved circulation, landscaping and parking, will elevate the precinct while maintaining strong support for local and grassroots use.

Delivered in partnership with the Australian Government, Queensland Government and Ipswich City Council, construction will commence soon, with completion scheduled for late 2027.

LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT | At Buildcorp, our most important project has always been our people. We're proud to announce the appointment of Ron Sorich and Matthew Faglioni as Joint General Managers of our New Build NSW business unit.

Ron first joined Buildcorp in 1993 and Matt in 2012. Between them, they bring more than 50 years of construction experience, having led the delivery of complex projects across all sectors, many in live and operational environments.

Their appointment reflects what long-term investment in people can achieve – deep industry experience, trusted client relationships, and a proven track record of delivering consistent project outcomes. Ron and Matt bring complementary strengths to the role, providing the continuity and capability to lead the business unit into its next chapter.

As Joint General Managers, they will lead New Build NSW's talented team forward, with a continued focus on developing our people.

A UNIFIED PARTNERSHIP | Early alignment and integrated thinking have underpinned Buildcorp’s partnership with Apt. on Apt.Meadowbank & Meadowbank Corner from the very beginning.

Engaged early to progress the design and provide cost and program certainty, our team worked closely with Apt. through a comprehensive six month ECI phase, embedding buildability, procurement and value optimisation strategies from the outset.

This collaborative model has supported the delivery of a landmark $181M mixed use precinct that will transform Meadowbank, bringing together build to rent living, flex living and a vibrant retail offering in one connected community hub.

Comprising 291 apartments across four buildings, alongside a new retail centre anchored by Coles and supported by over 15 specialty tenancies, the development has been carefully designed to enhance amenity, connectivity and long term value for residents and the wider community.

Through early contractor involvement and close engagement with the subcontractor market, the team unlocked innovative construction solutions and cost efficiencies, while maintaining the integrity of the design vision and strengthening program certainty.

Sustainability and future-focused design have remained central throughout, with the project targeting strong ESG outcomes and delivering a fully integrated, next-generation living environment.

As construction progresses towards completion, the Buildcorp–Apt. partnership continues to demonstrate the value of shared thinking, transparency, and a unified commitment to delivering a high-quality, community-focused development.

Last week, the Buildcorp and Euroline team was proud to attend Bandu's annual NAIDOC Week Lunch at the Art Gallery of NSW, joining community leaders, corporate partners, educators, supporters and Bandu Students to celebrate this year's NAIDOC Week theme, "50 Years of Deadly."

Hosted by Kamilaroi man and FOX Sports presenter Jake Duke, the event brought together industry and community leaders to celebrate the achievements, culture and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while hearing powerful stories from Bandu participants whose resilience, growth and ambition highlighted the transformative impact of education, employment opportunities, culturally safe workplaces and strong partnerships.

At Buildcorp, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration, respect and opportunity. Supporting organisations like Bandu aligns with our commitment to creating positive social impact and fostering inclusive pathways into employment and training.

It was also an opportunity to strengthen relationships, share ideas and connect with others who are committed to advancing reconciliation through action. Thank you to the Bandu Organisation for hosting such an inspiring event and for the incredible work you continue to do in supporting First Nations young people to pursue education, employment and leadership opportunities.

PROJECT PARTNERS GATHER AS COOMERA HEALTH CAMPUS STAGE 1 PROGRESSES | Buildcorp recently welcomed Vital Healthcare Property Trust, Queensland Health and project consultants to site at Coomera Health Campus Stage 1, as construction recently commenced.

Located within the rapidly growing Coomera precinct on the Northern Gold Coast, the development will deliver a modern, purpose-built healthcare hub designed to support increasing demand for high-quality healthcare services across the region.

The project comprises a contemporary medical facility anchored by leading healthcare providers, incorporating specialist and allied health tenancies, convenient on-site parking and a patient-focused design that prioritises accessibility and functionality.

The site visit provided an opportunity for Vital Healthcare, Queensland Health and project stakeholders to come together on site as the project moves from design into delivery, marking a significant milestone for this healthcare development.

With construction now underway, we look forward to delivering a modern facility that will support the growing healthcare needs of the Northern Gold Coast community.

50 YEARS DEADLY | This NAIDOC Week, Buildcorp and Euroline proudly acknowledge the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and celebrates 50 Years of Deadly.

This year’s theme marks a powerful milestone, honouring five decades of voices, resilience and leadership across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It pays tribute to the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who created space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who continue to lead with strength and pride.

NAIDOC Week is an ongoing platform for truth-telling, cultural celebration, and collective reflection. It reminds us of the progress achieved through generations of advocacy, and the importance of continuing that momentum today.

As we reflect on the past and recognise the strength of communities today, we also look to the future and the next generation who will continue to shape change across all sectors.

We encourage our people to engage, listen and learn, and to stand in solidarity with First Nations colleagues and communities. Together, we honour what has come before by continuing the work toward reconciliation, respect and meaningful action.

QLD RUGBY, SPORTS & LEADERSHIP LUNCH 2026 | Yesterday, Buildcorp hosted our 8th Annual QLD Rugby, Sports and Leadership Lunch at the The Calile Hotel in Brisbane.

We were honoured to be joined by wonderful speakers from the world of rugby, sport and business who generously shared their insights with our Brisbane community in what was a fabulous afternoon of discussion and networking.

Former Wallaby Tim Horan AM interviewed Head Coach of the Queensland Reds and incoming Wallabies Head Coach Les Kiss on his leadership journey, his journey with the Reds and how he will be preparing the Wallabies for next year’s Rugby World Cup.

We were privileged to welcome former Premier of Queensland The Honourable Dr Anna Bligh AC for an insightful discussion on leadership with Buildcorp Principal Josephine Sukkar AM.

We closed with Daniel Herbert, former Wallaby and Chairman of Rugby Australia, who shared his incredible journey from the field to the boardroom.

ALL IN FOR RECONCILIATION | This week, Buildcorp and Euroline marked National Reconciliation Week across our offices and sites, embracing the 2026 theme, ‘All In for Reconciliation’.

All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

Our teams came together to reflect on what it means to go “all in”, committing to real action, deeper understanding, and stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. These conversations continue to shape how we work, partner and build a more inclusive future.

As we progress on our reconciliation journey, we’re proud to continue delivering on our objectives, deepening cultural understanding and creating meaningful opportunities through strengthened relationships, economic participation, cultural respect and lasting change.

In our Sydney head office, we welcomed Bandu Organisation, our Indigenous advisors and partners, who shared insights into their work and how it connects to this year’s NRW themes.

TIMBER INNOVATION ELEVATING 450 QUEEN STREET | Works at 450 Queen Street continue to progress, with all concrete slab pouring now complete and the integration of mass timber elements as part of this landmark adaptive reuse project.

Retaining and extending the existing concrete core, columns and slabs, the project demonstrates how thoughtful engineering can significantly reduce embodied carbon while supporting a high‑performance commercial outcome in Brisbane’s CBD.

A key feature of the development is the use of Glulam and Cross‑Laminated Timber (CLT). Glulam is engineered by bonding layers of timber for strength and precision, providing robust structural beams and columns capable of spanning large distances while maintaining a warm, natural aesthetic. CLT panels, made by layering timber boards in alternating directions, deliver exceptional structural rigidity, dimensional stability and fire performance, making them well suited to multi‑storey construction.

Together, these mass timber systems reduce reliance on carbon‑intensive materials, accelerate construction through prefabrication, and contribute to a healthier indoor environment for future occupants. Their application at 450 Queen Street sets a strong benchmark for sustainable, adaptive commercial development in Australia.

On completion, the revitalised 24‑storey building will deliver more than 17,000sqm of premium, all‑electric, carbon‑neutral office space, demonstrating how existing assets can be reimagined through innovation, sustainability and considered design.

REVESBY RISE OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY | Buildcorp recently joined Gateway Capital and project partners on site to mark the sod turn for Revesby Rise, setting the project in motion and establishing a strong foundation for delivery.

Located in the heart of Sydney’s southwest industrial and logistics precinct, Revesby Rise will transform an ageing industrial asset into a state‑of‑the‑art, multi‑level logistics hub. The development will deliver Sydney’s largest multi-level warehouse, replacing outdated facilities with flexible, future‑ready warehouse space capable of supporting a wide range of operational requirements.

With over 54,000sqm of warehouse and office space, the project is designed to respond to growing demand for modern logistics infrastructure close to key transport networks.

Over the past year, Buildcorp has worked closely with Gateway Capital, consultants, authorities and incoming anchor tenant Refresco through an early contractor involvement phase. This collaborative approach enabled the team to test buildability, navigate complex site constraints, refine scope, mitigate risk and achieve cost certainty, setting the project up for success.

With works now underway, we look forward to delivering a high‑performing, resilient logistics precinct that supports businesses to operate, grow and thrive.
