Made for slow mornings, long lunches and easy entertaining. ☀️

As part of the transformation of this 140-year-old cottage, the extension created a generous outdoor living space that feels right at home alongside the original character of the property.

From the timber detailing to the covered entertaining area, every element was designed to create a space that’s practical, comfortable and made to be enjoyed.

Old character. New spaces. A home made for living.

A fresh take on a timeless home. ✨

This bathroom was another part of the
140-year-old cottage brought into a new chapter — combining modern functionality with a timeless, considered design.

Every detail was carefully chosen to complement the character of the original home, while creating a space that feels fresh, practical and beautifully suited to modern living.

And if we’re being honest… this might just be one of our favourite bathrooms we’ve ever built. 🤍

Old home. New chapter. Thoughtful design.

Another piece of this transformation.

A kitchen made for living. 🤍

As part of the transformation of this 140-year-old cottage, a new extension created the perfect space for a kitchen designed around modern family living.

The kitchen was positioned within the new addition, creating more space, better flow and a natural connection between the original cottage and the new part of the home.

Modern functionality meets the character and charm of the original cottage — creating a considered balance of old-world charm and modern living.

👋 MEET THE BUILDER

Hi, I'm Adam — the builder behind ACM Build.

I've been working in the building industry for over 20 years. I started as an apprentice and worked my way through every stage of residential construction, gaining hands-on experience and a genuine appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
Those years taught me that great projects aren't just built with quality materials—they're built on trust, honest communication and attention to detail.

At ACM Build, we're a family-owned business specialising in renovations, extensions and custom homes. I work closely with every client from our first conversation through to handover, ensuring every project receives the same care, craftsmanship and attention I'd expect in my own home.

My goal is simple:
✔️ Quality workmanship

✔️ Honest communication

✔️ A stress-free building experience

Whether you're planning a renovation, extending your family home or building from the ground up, I'd love to help bring your vision to life.

Thanks for following along and supporting ACM Build. I look forward to sharing our projects, behind-the-scenes moments and practical building tips with you.

📩 Thinking about renovating or building? Send me a message—I'd love to chat.

Throwback to where it all began. 🏡✨

This renovation and extension was completed over 10 years ago during my apprenticeship.

Looking back, it's a project that played a big part in shaping the builder I am today. Seeing the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into this home inspired the standards I still aim to deliver on every project.
It's a reminder that every build is an opportunity to learn, grow, and create something that lasts.

Fast forward to today, and I'm proud to continue helping families transform their homes through quality renovations, extensions, and new builds.

Thanks for following the journey—there's plenty more to come.

Before the paint, before the finishes, there's this — intricate work, sharp lines, and countless joins coming together to shape a home from the ground up.

Every frame relies on the next to stand strong. Despite the run of rainy days lately, this job is well underway and coming together nicely.

Have a great weekend everyone 👌
