🙌🏼 It’s been too long! 🙌🏼
My socials have been super quiet while I’ve been surviving this hectic summer period. 🥴
Here’s some updates:
- My partner Will & I got engaged just before Christmas 💍🤩
- We then spent alternating days not seeing each other while on fire trucks at various fires across western Victoria over the festive season, before I was deployed to the fires in my day job (livestock related). 🚒 🔥🐑
- The poor dahlias were severely neglected, full of weeds, and in dire need of staking which I’ve slowly tackled in the last month. Still to this day I haven’t had any insect control or fertiliser applied. 😅
- We managed to get away for a quick week in Port Fairy to have some rest and recovery after shearing. It was so nice to slow down and spent time together as now fiancés. 🥰🌊
- Despite everything, the dahlias are doing their thing and pumping out lots of gorgeous blooms which I’m so thankful for. 💐
Thanks to those that have sent through updates on their dahlias growing - it makes me so happy seeing them in your gardens and spreading the dahlia joy around! 🌸
I’ll keep more dahlia spam coming and am happy to try and accommodate any bouquets or DIY bucket requests with what’s available - just send me a DM. 🤗
