We’re hiring an experienced Carpenter and an experienced Construction Labourer.

CARPENTER
Cert III, at least 2 years up since your apprenticeship, and real renovation and extension experience. You can read plans, set out your own work, and keep an apprentice busy without being asked.

LABOURER
At least 5 years on construction sites. White Card, current licence and your own transport. You know how a site runs and what the chippies need before they need it.

BOTH ROLES
Full time and consistent. Our books are full into the middle of next year, so no gaps between jobs. Paid weekly. Well-run sites, good gear, and a small team.

TO APPLY
Link in bio, or search Dellwood Constructions on Indeed. Send your resume and tell us the sites you’ve worked on and who you worked for.

Please don’t DM us, we won’t see it, and applications without a resume won’t be considered.

Footy season, that’s a wrap.

So proud of the Under 13 Burleigh Bears for their effort in yesterday’s grand final. It didn’t go our way, but a 24-22 scoreline made for a gripping game right to the end.

Congratulations to Mudgeeraba on the win - well deserved 👏

Dellwood Constructions was proud to sponsor the Women in League jerseys that the girls wore in the GF.

We're still on a high after taking home two awards at the 2026 Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards on Friday night.

Steve was awarded the Xact Accounting Rising Star Award, which recognises emerging builders who are making an impact through quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and commitment to their team and business. In Master Builders' own words, the judging panel were "astounded by the project delivery, planning and ex*****on in the work of Steven Mcintyre from Dellwood Constructions".

And Project Songbird won Home Renovation Project from $350,000 up to $500,000.

Thank you to our team, our clients, our subbies and our suppliers for your continued support.
Thank you, Master Builders Queensland and Xact Accounting, for the recognition.
And a special shout out to Brad and Sheri for trusting us with your beautiful home.

Master Builders' Gold Coast 2026 Xact Accounting Rising Star Award was Steven McIntyre from Dellwood Constructions at Friday's Housing & Construction Awards.

See the full list of Gold Coast winners via link in bio.

Starting out as a formwork carpenter, hard work is in Steve’s DNA. Progressing through to foreman and site manager working in the commercial sector, he has worked on some of the most iconic and well-known projects on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.

He not only holds an Open Builders Licence but is also qualified in Project Management. Meeting Steve onsite, the judges were astounded by his project delivery, planning and overall ex*****on, making him an asset to our industry.

Progress update | Burleigh Waters

The stacker doors are in, opening the living space straight out to the pool. With the outdoor pillar gone, the flow between inside and out is exactly what this home was always meant to feel like.

The curved walls and fireplace are taking shape too, softening every line and bringing a warmth to the space that’s hard to put into words.

Here’s something we wish more clients knew before they came to us.

Get your builder involved early.

When you’re renovating, bringing your builder into the conversation from the start means your plans and your budget are working together. Existing homes come with unknowns that even the best designer can’t anticipate from drawings alone. Structure, services, council history, site conditions - these things shape what’s possible and what it will cost.

We have a trusted panel of building designers and architects we work with regularly - or we’re just as happy to work alongside yours. However you come to us, getting us around the table early means fewer surprises and a smoother path from design to build.

Meet Bec!

Bec has joined the Dellwood team as our Construction Project Coordinator, bringing a solid background in construction, procurement and contract management.

She's the one keeping Steve and the team in line - driving deadlines, managing tasks, and making sure every project stays on track. We're already wondering how we managed without her.

Welcome to the team, Bec!

On Fridays, we wear Trademutt.

trademutt is an Australian workwear brand on a mission to get tradies talking about mental health. Every loud, bright, impossible-to-ignore shirt is a conversation starter and every purchase supports free mental health services for people in the trades industry.

It’s a cause close to our hearts.

Steve’s parents were among the first businesses in Grafton to introduce Funky Shirt Fridays. It was something his dad was so proud of — backing a movement that mattered, and making sure his team knew it was okay to talk.

➡️ Scroll to the end and check out Steve’s Dad and the Lormac team in their Trademutt shirts, circa 2018.

I think it’s about time we turn up the loudness on our team’s shirts - what do you think?
