This week I've swapped the posi tracks for the race track! 🏁🚗💨

Before anyone starts wondering if we've finally lost the plot and traded the machines for race cars... the answer is: only temporarily. 😎

After months of moving dirt, slashing paddocks, building pads, cleaning up properties and generally making the impossible possible, it was time for a quick pit stop.

Turns out even earthmoving operators need the occasional service and tune-up. Who knew? 🤷‍♂️

So this week we're taking a breather, burning a little less diesel and a little more rubber, enjoying some work-life balance, and pretending we're professional race car drivers instead of professional hole diggers. 😂

Don't worry—we'll be back next week, refreshed, recharged, and ready to get back to moving the earth one bucket at a time.

Until then, if you hear loud noises, it's probably not the excavator. 🏁🔥

From overgrown and hard to access… to clean, tidy and ready to roll. 👌🚜

This little driveway clean-up out at Coominya got a fresh lease on life with a tidy-up and a touch of roadbase to help keep the slop away through the wet stuff. 🌧️➡️☀️

Sometimes it’s the small jobs that make the biggest difference — easier access, cleaner presentation, and a whole lot less mess under the tyres.

They say weekends are for relaxing…
Apparently nobody told the wife that. 😂

Monday to Friday, we work for our clients…
But weekends? That’s reserved for the never-ending “while you’ve got the machine here…” list at home. 👀

This weekend’s mission:
✔️ Cut and fill for a new flat pad
✔️ Space for shipping containers
✔️ Future workshop area for the truck & machine
✔️ The beginnings of a retaining wall
✔️ A few “this’ll only take 5 minutes” jobs that somehow took all weekend 😅

Phase 1 is officially underway… with approximately 463 phases still to go. 😂

Back to work this week while we let the fill settle before topping it up again and loading it with stone ready for the containers to sit on.

“Once-a-pon a time…” 🐴✨

Hidden beneath the overgrown weeds and years of being untouched… was an arena patiently waiting to be found again. 👀

Today’s mission out at Mount Hallen uncovered this little surprise on a beautiful 10 acre corner block that’ll soon be hitting the market looking for its next chapter.

What started as “just a paddock clean up” quickly turned into uncovering a hidden gem with a whole lot of potential. 🌱🚜

It just goes to show… sometimes you need to look past the weeds to see the real beauty underneath.

Today’s mission was the beginning stages of slashing a 10-acre property out at Mount Hallen 🌾

One of those jobs where the photos never quite show how much work actually goes into it 😅
Slow going today with:
🌿 Extremely thick undergrowth
🪵 Hidden trees that had been taken down in previous years
🪤 Broken fences needing to be avoided throughout the property

But even after the first clean-up pass… how much better does it already look?! 👏
