A project close to our hearts 💧

Over the past few weeks our team worked alongside the Reece Foundation to restore clean, reliable water to two remote communities on the Dampier Peninsula.

It’s an incredible feeling seeing water flow again for families who’ve been waiting a long time, and we were lucky enough to work with some of the best of the best while we were at it. Absolute legends all round.

Proud of the work our crew put in and grateful to the Reece Foundation for supporting projects that make a real difference across the Kimberley.

Founder and Director of Remote Area Plumbing, a proud 100% Indigenous-owned business based in Broome and Fitzroy Crossing, servicing the Kimberley and beyond.

A Bunuba man, born and raised in Fitzroy Crossing, Voyd has over 15 years of hands-on plumbing and civil experience. He’s passionate about supporting his community, training up local workers, and delivering reliable, professional plumbing solutions across remote and regional WA.

Under Voyd’s leadership, RAP has grown from a one-man operation to a skilled team of local plumbers, apprentices, and operators, proudly completing projects for homes, communities, and major clients including Water Corporation, Main Roads WA, Roy Hill, and the Department of Finance.

This week, Remote Area Plumbing met with the Reece Foundation at their headquarters in Melbourne to plan the upcoming Oolah Project.

We’re excited to be working alongside the Reece Foundation as First Nations plumbers, delivering clean sanitation solutions on Country and creating lasting impact for our Aboriginal communities.

Remote Area Plumbing is officially online - and we’re so excited to now be servicing Broome.

We might be new to Broome, but we’re not new to the Kimberley. You may recognise us from Fitzroy Crossing, where RAP has been proudly operating and supporting community for years. We’re still going strong in Fitzroy - and have now expanded to the coast as both our little family and our business continue to grow, which our tiniest apprentice is thrilled about 💙

Proudly owned and run by local Kimberley people, we’re passionate about creating training and employment pathways for our mob - and delivering reliable, high-quality plumbing across residential, commercial and remote works.
