Chris is back!! Ever heard of a Lautner Edge?

Named after architect John Lautner and also referred to as a zero edge or knife edge, it allows the water to flow right to the very edge of the pool, creating a seamless finish.

Chris takes us through how we’re bringing it to life at our Vaucluse project.

This week onsite with Winrani and it was another busy one with tiling progressing at our Belrose pool, steelworks and concrete spray at our North Avoca Project, our concrete pool at Elanora Heights taking shape.. we even got to catch up with our client David in Panania to get some professional photos of his pool and ask him how he’s enjoyed by his new outdoor space!

Tight access calls for a little extra planning.

Chris, our Senior Project Manager, takes us through our Rose Bay concrete pool project, where access meant bringing machinery down a set of stairs while making sure the client’s existing tiling was fully protected along the way.

With the pool now at spray stage, Chris also explains how we’ve kept excavated material on site ready to be reused for backfilling as the build progresses.

It’s all in the planning, especially on Sydney sites where space is tight.

Proud to have represented NSW on the Australasian stage.

Following our wins at the SPASA NSW Awards of Excellence, Winrani Pools went on to be named a finalist in 4 categories at the 2026 SPASA Australasian Awards of Excellence.

Among them, our very own Jodie Ranieri was a finalist for the Australasian Pool Designer Award, alongside three of our Winrani pool projects recognised at this level.

Being named among the best across Australia and New Zealand is something our whole team is extremely proud of.

A huge thank you to our clients who trust us with their homes, along with our team, suppliers, partners and the wider industry for their ongoing support.

And thank you to SPASA Australia SPASA and the Master Pools Guild Master Pools Guild for continuing to recognise and celebrate the people and projects within our industry.
