Congratulations to our group of McNabbers who took on this year’s Mater Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer, completing the gruelling 100km ride in support of the Mater Foundation.

The annual ride brings together thousands of cyclists for a big day in the saddle, all while raising vital funds for cancer research, treatment and patient care.

This year was a little more special for us, with McNab coming onboard as an event sponsor and getting behind a cause that makes a real difference in the communities where we live and work.

A huge congratulations to all our riders for taking on the challenge, putting in the kilometres and representing McNab along the way!

The Anaconda Stores Adventure HQ in Brendale is officially open!

We were proud to team up with Spotlight Retail Group to deliver Australia’s largest outdoor adventure store, designed by Buchan and spanning an impressive 17,780sqm.

And this isn’t your average retail store. The Adventure HQ features an ice cave, 40ft casting tank, fishing simulator, outback campgrounds and even an indoor marina, giving customers the chance to get hands-on with the outdoors before they even leave the building.

We’re proud to have been part of the successful delivery of this project and to see the Adventure HQ now officially open its doors.

It was fantastic to bring together our valued Sydney subcontractors, suppliers and consultants at our Partners in Business event recently to reconnect, welcome new faces and reflect on our progress over the past year. The evening was a chance to say thanks to the people who play such an important role in what we do, share updates on our Sydney pipeline, and celebrate what we’ve achieved together.

Last Friday, we came together for our annual McNab Meetup, made even more special this year as we celebrate 30 years of McNab!

We took a moment to reflect on the journey, with Rupert McCall paying tribute to the McNab legacy, before hearing from a cracking business panel featuring leaders from across our industry. We were also lucky enough to welcome professional big wave surfer and keynote speaker Mark Mathews to the stage to share his inspiring story.

And, of course, no McNab Meetup would be complete without Merrick Watts and David Lutteral keeping us entertained and on track.

Most importantly, we took the time to recognise some of our long-term staff and McNab legends — the people who have helped shape our business over the years and played a huge part in getting us to where we are today.

30 years is a pretty big milestone, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the people who make McNab what it is.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate. Here’s to the next chapter!

Last Friday, two of our projects took home the win at the 2026 Downs & Western Master Builders Queensland Housing & Construction Awards!

Our project for The Salvation Army in Snell Street took out the Social Housing category, while our Novus Precast Manufacturing Distribution Facility was named the winner of the Commercial/Industrial ($10m–$25m) category.

A huge congratulations to both project teams and everyone who played a part in bringing these projects to life. We’re proud of what we delivered, and even prouder of the people who made it happen!

We’re getting close to revealing the finished product at BHC Southport, and we’re currently tracking ahead of schedule.

With the scaffolding supplied by Newnham Scaffolding coming down, there's only a few levels left before Supplyhaus' striking façade is fully revealed.

We are proud to be delivering our 12th project for BHC Creating Liveable Communities and helping create 158 social and affordable homes for Queenslanders.

This project was made possible by a BHC QIC consortium, with funding from the Queensland Government, and financing through Housing Australia (HA) and the Australian Retirement Trust (ART).
