🌿 Before ➡️ After… what a transformation!

Another garden transformation completed by SG Connections — and this one has made a HUGE difference! 🙌

What started as a tired, overgrown and very uneven garden bed is now a clean, low-maintenance feature that really complements the home.

The transformation included:

🌿 Clearing the existing vegetation
✂️Removing a tree and tree stump
🪨Preparing the hard, rocky ground
🖤 Installing geofabric
🪨 Spreading and levelling decorative stone
🪴 Bringing the existing terracotta pots and pedestals into the design
🌱 Adding carefully selected plants to the pots
🏛️ Positioning the existing statue as the feature
✨ Finishing touches and a good clean-up

The result? A completely different space!

I particularly love how the existing pots, statue and new planting have all come together — rather than replacing everything, we worked with what was already there and gave it a whole new look.

A repeat client had recently purchased an outdoor gazebo which arrived in a flat pack. The client called and in a short time I had the gazebo assembled and installed in accordance with client instructions. The client can now enjoy the outdoors no matter the time of day or weather and is very happy with the result.

24/10/2025

Today I had a client request me to prune back her Golden Cane so she could work on the surrounding garden bed. The client also requested I thin out the Golden Cane, remove any dead fronds and leave some of the new growth in the middle.

The Client is very happy with the results and is now ooking forward to working on her garden bed.

Today I had the opportunity to work on a property at 11 Maia Crescent Burpengary for Minihan Group.

My brief was to tidy up the property in readiness to sell. And to fix a bathroom basin push sink plug that was stuck in the closed position.

The property had not been lived in for some months, and the outside areas were definitely in need of some TLC.

I enjoyed the challenge, and my hard work has definitely improved the look of the property. And I released the push sink plug so the bathroom basin is now useable again.

✨ Backyard Transformation by SG Connections! ✨

After consultation and agreement with the client here's what I did to bring the space back to life:

✅ Uncovered hidden pavers to enhance the outdoor flow
✅ Mowed & whipper snipped for a neat and tidy lawn
✅ Re-seeded large soil patches to encourage lush grass growth
✅ Installed new greenery to boost curb appeal

The result? A vibrant and inviting backyard that will surely impress potential buyers! 🌱✨

🌿 Job Spotlight: Helping the Country Women’s Association! 🌿

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with the Country Women’s Association, helping improve their clubhouse by tackling a few key projects:

✅ Cleared overgrown vegetation – restoring the outdoor space and making it safer and more inviting.
✅ Built a sturdy wooden crate table – CWA wanted something to cover a water heater with a table top.
✅ Removed a raised wood joint on the floor of a door entranceway that was considered a trip hazard, improving accessibility inside the clubhouse. (At time of posting CWA still to decide on a final finish)

It’s always rewarding to support local community groups and ensure their spaces are safe, functional, and welcoming.

My wonderful van has had a rough start - the beginning of the year someone scratched my drivers door. And to finish off the year my rear glass panel was shattered.
