Celebrating Five Years with SANDEMAN Build 👏🏻

Five years ago, Jackson joined Sandeman Build as a school-based apprentice.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow into a skilled carpenter, a valued member of our team, and someone our clients know for his enthusiasm, reliability and sense of humour. Over the past five years, he’s completed his apprenticeship, helped deliver some incredible homes, and embraced every opportunity to keep learning.

Outside of work, he’s tackled a renovation of his own alongside his partner Matilda, proving that his passion for building doesn’t stop when the workday ends. Now, as he begins taking on projects of his own while continuing to be an important part of the Sandeman Build team, it’s exciting to see the confidence and capability he’s developed.

Congratulations on five years, Jacko! We’re proud of everything you’ve achieved so far, and we can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes you. 🔨

Every stage brings the vision into sharper focus. 🍃

At our Eppalock project, the roof structure is now taking shape, revealing the proportions, form and character of a home that has been thoughtfully designed from the ground up.

With each milestone, the months of planning, collaboration and craftsmanship become easier to appreciate. What began as a shared vision is steadily becoming a home that feels connected to the property it will call home for generations.

They earn it through thoughtful design.

For Ben and Liv, that meant creating a home defined by timeless materials and careful detailing. Recycled brick brings warmth and character, Interlock cladding provides a clean contemporary contrast, and Merbau detailing softens the façade with natural texture.

Every material was chosen with purpose, creating a home that feels considered, enduring and welcoming from the moment you arrive.

Some of our favourite details in Evergreen aren’t the first things you notice. 🍃

It’s the subtle design choices that quietly tie the home together. The VJ panelling beneath the kitchen island is echoed in the internal doors, creating a sense of continuity throughout the home. Custom timber shelving, handcrafted by Ben, brings warmth and character to the living space, while floor-to-ceiling sheers soften the natural light and create a calm, inviting atmosphere.

Thoughtfully considered details like these give Evergreen its timeless feel. It’s the personal touches from Ben and Liv that make this house feel like home.
