Current job out in Sutton. We’re currently working on a sandstone wall between the tennis court and the stairs to the house. Alongside the excavation and preparation works, we’ve also been cleaning and salvaging old Canberra Reds bricks that will be reused in a feature wall elsewhere on the property.

Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Back where it all started 🇲🇹

These photos are from the Church of St Francis of Assisi in Ħamrun, Malta, the church my dad helped build. Built between 1952 and 1954, it’s still standing there today.

Stone masonry has always been in my blood. I’m originally from Malta and one of 15 kids- number 14, to be exact. Growing up, hard work and the trade were a big part of family life.

One of these photos is of Dad working on the church, and seeing that same photo still hanging inside all these years later was pretty special. It’s a reminder of where it all started and the generations of stonemasons before me.

From Malta to Australia, I’m proud to carry on the family trade and keep doing what my family has done for generations. 🪨🇲🇹
