PROJECT COMPLETION | St Declan’s Primary School, Penshurst

COWYN Building Group is proud to announce the successful delivery of the redevelopment of St Declan’s Catholic Primary School for Sydney Catholic Schools achieving Practical Completion in August 2026.

The Design & Construct project delivered a new multi-level school and parish facility, including six GLAs with shared flexible learning spaces, a new school hall, administration and reception areas, parish offices and meeting spaces, a new lift, major infrastructure upgrades, a bridge link to the existing school, covered outdoor learning areas and extensive landscaping.

Designed by Neeson Murcutt Neille, the finished project is a fantastic outcome for the school, parish and wider community.

PROJECT TIMELAPSE | Central Coast Grammar School – Arts Precinct

A look back at the delivery of the new Arts Precinct Central Coast Grammar School captured shortly after commencement through to completion.

Delivered under a Design & Construct contract in collaboration with TCB Project Management and SDA and completed within 11 months on site, the project was carefully coordinated within a live school environment to maintain safety, minimise disruption and achieve the required programme.

The timelapse captures the transformation of the site into a purpose-built, two-level Arts Precinct supporting visual arts, photography, creative learning and collaboration. A great result from the entire project team!

PROJECT COMPLETION | Central Coast Grammar School – Arts Precinct

COWYN Building Group is delighted to announce the completion of the new Arts Precinct at Central Coast Grammar School, with the Occupation Certificate received on 14 July 2026, ahead of the commencement of Term 3.

Delivered under a Design & Construct contract and designed by SDA | Space Design Architecture, the purpose-built, two-level facility includes six dedicated art studios, multiple art storage areas, a photography studio, kiln room, staff facilities and flexible multipurpose learning spaces.

Completed within 12 months on site and delivered within a live and operational school environment, the project required careful planning, close stakeholder coordination and detailed management to maintain safety, minimise disruption and achieve the programme.

Thank you to Central Coast Grammar School SDA TCB Project Management, the wider consultant team, our valued subcontractors and the entire COWYN project team for their contribution.

The new Arts Precinct is a significant addition to one of the Central Coast’s leading independent schools and will support creativity, collaboration and excellence in visual arts education for many years to come.

💛 Walking for Liam. Walking for a Cure.

Today, the COWYN team is proud to sponsor Day 2 of the Mark Hughes Foundation Big Three Trek.

Our Director, Adam Johnson, will join hundreds of participants walking 150km from Sydney to Newcastle to raise vital funds for brain cancer research, support services and, ultimately, a cure.

Two years ago, Adam and Erin’s world changed forever when their youngest son, Liam, was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Just days later, on his sixth birthday, they received the devastating confirmation that it was brain cancer. Since then, Liam and the Johnson family have shown extraordinary courage, resilience and strength throughout their journey.

PROGRESS UPDATE | Coast Christian School, Bensville

COWYN Building Group is proud to be delivering the first stage of Coast Christian School's future High School campus at Bensville.

Awarded in March 2026 and delivered in partnership with the project will provide contemporary learning environments for future generations of students while supporting the school's long-term growth and vision.

The development comprises a new two-storey learning facility incorporating specialist Art & Textiles, Woodwork, Science and Food Technology classrooms, together with additional General Learning Areas, a new car park, COLA, covered walkways and associated infrastructure upgrades.

It has been fantastic to see the project take shape over recent months and we look forward to sharing further progress as works continue.

NEW PROJECT | The Scots College Pool

We’re delighted to confirm that works are now underway at Pool Redevelopment Project, being delivered under a novated Design & Construct contract.

Since executing the contract in October 2025, our project team has progressed the design through to Construction Certificate approval, achieved last week, enabling works to commence on site.

We look forward to working once again with project superintendent , project architect , specialist pool contractor and our key consultants and subcontractors.

The project will deliver a new competition-standard water polo pool, spectator stand and associated infrastructure upgrades to support elite sport, student wellbeing and the broader school community.

We look forward to delivering this project at this prestigious educational institution through collaboration, experience and quality ex*****on.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Matraville (Stage 3)

COWYN Building Group is proud to announce that the Occupation Certificate for Stage 3 of the redevelopment was obtained yesterday, marking another significant milestone in our long-term involvement on campus.

Building on the success of the Stage 2 Hall and Administration Building, and delivered under a Design & Construct contract, Stage 3 comprises new ground-floor carparking facilities, first-floor classrooms and adaptable learning spaces, and a purpose-built early learning centre for on the second floor, supported by associated upgrades throughout the precinct.

Delivering this scope within a live, operational school required meticulous planning, carefully staged sequencing, and close collaboration with the school, consultants and wider project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption.

Our continued engagement with and reflects the strength of our partnership and the capability, professionalism and commitment of our project team.

Achieving this milestone is a testament to our high-performing staff, our attention to detail, and our unwavering focus on collaborative, outcomes driven project delivery.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Our Lady Queen of Peace, Greystanes

Completed in July, the new Multipurpose Hall at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Greystanes marks our first project delivered for in more than 20 years.

Delivered under a novated Design and Construct contract, the project brings together contemporary architectural detailing, acoustic performance and functional learning space.

The facility includes a high-performance sports floor, extensive acoustic timber panelling, operable glazed walls, amenities and flexible spaces designed for assemblies, indoor sport, gatherings and wider community use.

A great result for the school, and another example of COWYN’s commitment to delivering high-quality education facilities across NSW. Well done to all involved!
