NEW PROJECT | The Scots College Pool

We’re delighted to confirm that works are now underway at Pool Redevelopment Project, being delivered under a novated Design & Construct contract.

Since executing the contract in October 2025, our project team has progressed the design through to Construction Certificate approval, achieved last week, enabling works to commence on site.

We look forward to working once again with project superintendent , project architect , specialist pool contractor and our key consultants and subcontractors.

The project will deliver a new competition-standard water polo pool, spectator stand and associated infrastructure upgrades to support elite sport, student wellbeing and the broader school community.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Matraville (Stage 3)

COWYN Building Group is proud to announce that the Occupation Certificate for Stage 3 of the redevelopment was obtained yesterday, marking another significant milestone in our long-term involvement on campus.

Building on the success of the Stage 2 Hall and Administration Building, and delivered under a Design & Construct contract, Stage 3 comprises new ground-floor carparking facilities, first-floor classrooms and adaptable learning spaces, and a purpose-built early learning centre for on the second floor, supported by associated upgrades throughout the precinct.

Delivering this scope within a live, operational school required meticulous planning, carefully staged sequencing, and close collaboration with the school, consultants and wider project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption.

Our continued engagement with and reflects the strength of our partnership and the capability, professionalism and commitment of our project team.

Achieving this milestone is a testament to our high-performing staff, our attention to detail, and our unwavering focus on collaborative, outcomes driven project delivery.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Our Lady Queen of Peace, Greystanes

Completed in July, the new Multipurpose Hall at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Greystanes marks our first project delivered for in more than 20 years.

Delivered under a novated Design and Construct contract, the project brings together contemporary architectural detailing, acoustic performance and functional learning space.

The facility includes a high-performance sports floor, extensive acoustic timber panelling, operable glazed walls, amenities and flexible spaces designed for assemblies, indoor sport, gatherings and wider community use.

A great result for the school, and another example of COWYN’s commitment to delivering high-quality education facilities across NSW. Well done to all involved!

PRACTICAL COMPLETION | Holy Spirit Catholic College, Lakemba

COWYN is proud to announce the successful completion of works

In our 70th anniversary year, it has been especially significant to return to Lakemba, where our operations first began back in 1954. With long-standing connections to St John’s College, MacKillop Girls, and St John’s Bowling Club, delivering this project has been both a professional achievement and a personal milestone.

The project was delivered ahead of schedule, to an outstanding level of quality, and with a strong safety record. Key works included the construction of a new three-storey Administration and Student Services Hub, extensive alterations to existing facilities, site-wide PA system upgrades, fire and electrical infrastructure upgrades, and associated works.

We extend our thanks to and our trusted network of consultants and contractors for their collaboration in bringing this project to life.

We are proud to hand over a facility that will support students, staff, and the community for many years to come.

NEW PROJECT | Christian Brothers High School, Lewisham

COWYN is proud to continue our valued relationship with Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham — a partnership spanning more than 30 years.

With the Contract executed and CDC obtained, works for the major stage at the campus have officially commenced. The project will deliver alterations and additions to the existing Gallagher & Br Julian McDonald Centre, including:

• New General Learning Area (GLA) facilities
• A VET kitchen
• Suspended covered walkways
• External works and landscaping

We look forward to working with Architect & Superintendent in delivery of modern, functional spaces that will support students’ learning and wellbeing for years to come.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Marine Rescue NSW, Point Clare

The COWYN team was delighted to continue our relationship with Marine Rescue NSW in the successful delivery of their latest development at Point Clare on the magnificent Brisbane Waters.

This project, our fifth with over the past 5 years involved demolition of the existing base and construction of new two storey facility housing Training Rooms, Kitchen and amenities on the ground level with Radio Room, Administration, Offices & amenities on the First Floor.

Initially designed by , works were completed under D&C Contract in collaboration with and our valued team of local subcontractors.

We are thrilled to complete yet another fantastic emergency services facility to support the local boating and fishing community.

NEW PROJECT | St Declan's Primary School, Penshurst

It is with great excitement that we announce the Complying Development Certificate for St Declan's Primary School, Penshurst was obtained today signalling the official commencement of construction on the site.

Appointed by under a D&C Contract in January this year, works involve construction of three level education facility housing general learning areas on ground floor and two levels of administration / parish areas, construction of multi-purpose hall, landscaping, provision of student play areas and associated works.

With demolition nearing completion under a separate CDC, we look forward to working with and our valued consultants and contractors in the delivery of yet another fantastic facility for Sydney Catholic Schools

PRACTICAL COMPLETION | St Lucy's School, Wahroonga

COWYN is extremely proud to have aligned with and Bellcorp Management in the staged construction of the Catherine Centre and Veritas Upgrade at St Lucy's School, Wahroonga which reached practical completion in January 2025.

Stage One involved construction of new two storey classroom building housing twelve learning areas with associated learning support areas, staff areas, amenities and associated site works.

Stage Two involved the detailed alteration of eight existing classrooms to accommodate specialist life skill learning areas, VET kitchen, Library, Resource room, Literacy & Numeracy areas and refurbishment of existing Reception & Administration.

As a K-12 school for students with disabilities, our team meticulously coordinated construction to minimise school disruptions whilst catering for the special needs of the school community.

Congratulations to our dedicated team and sincere thanks for our wonderful network of subcontractors and suppliers that continued to the project's success.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Lisarow Medical & Early Learning Centre

Our Central Coast Team has again excelled with the completion of this three-storey integrated mixed development in Lisarow.

Following the provision of extensive cost planning and buildability advice during design development, DA & CC phases, we officially broke ground in February 2024. Our team collaborated with numerous project stakeholders and external contractors to deliver the project before the Christmas shutdown and ahead of scheduled trading in the 2025 New Year.

The building houses a Medical Centre, Pathology, & Physiotherapy Clinic on the Ground Floor and Early Learning Centre over the First and Second Floors.

Congratulations to all involved in this successful build; the facility is a tremendous asset to the local community!

PROJECT COMPLETION | Best Start Early Learning Centre, Wadalba

We are thrilled to confirm officially opened its doors today!

Engaged under D+C Contract in February 2024, our project team worked in collaboration with the owners, consultants and preferred local trades to deliver this outstanding Early Learning Centre on time ahead of today's official opening.

The DA approved single storey facility will accommodate 119 children across 6 separate Activity Rooms and 3 dedicated Outdoor Play Areas.

The building encompasses reception and administration offices; children amenities, wash facilities and dedicated sleep rooms; large commercial kitchen; staff and visitor amenities; along with covered verandahs, car parking, driveways, landscaping and associated works.

Congratulations to all involved in this successful project, we wish the dedicated team of educators and wonderful local families all the best in transitioning into this first class facility!
