Proud moment today signing my eldest Son Charlie up as an apprentice Carpenter.

Bit of a full circle moment for me. I did my apprenticeship alongside my old man and my two brothers. Long days, plenty of hard lessons, and a lot of laughs along the way. It wasn’t always easy, but it built the foundation for everything I’ve done since.

There’s something about this trade, it teaches you more than just how to work with your hands. It teaches discipline, problem solving, resilience, and how to take pride in what you build.

Now watching my son step into it, knowing what’s ahead of him, the good and the tough, makes me proud. Different path, same values.
Nothing beats seeing the next generation have a crack.
