A shorter one for us this week with only 3 days out on the tools! 👊

We started with underground power run through to a carport for an Evnex E2 Plus EV charger, along with a new weatherproof switchboard enclosure.

Across the rest of the week we completed a full switchboard upgrade with surge protection, installed plenty of new power points and helped a couple of clients with electrical issues that needed some quick attention. One had tripping power which we were able to attend to and sort out the same day, while another had completely lost power to her unit due to an issue within the group meter panel. We got her power restored and replaced her smoke alarms while we were there.

We also installed new smoke alarms for another client, completed a measure up and site inspection for an upcoming sauna installation, installed an LED spotlight with a sensor and carried out some diagnostic work and programming on a CCTV system.

We finished up with a three phase BYD EV charger installation and another new power point installed on brick.

Plenty of variety across the three days and some good jobs coming up over the next few weeks! 👊

We’ve had another great week helping our clients across Bacchus Marsh, Melton and the surrounding areas. 👊

This week we completed another switchboard upgrade with surge protection, installed an Evnex E2 Flex EV charger, fitted two new ceiling fans, wall mounted a 100 inch TV, installed a new induction cooktop circuit and upgraded power and data points.

We also carried out rental safety inspections, installed CCTV cameras, replaced smoke alarms, rangehoods, lighting, external sensor lights and completed plenty of general electrical upgrades.

Really appreciate the kind words from Carol! 👊

Over a couple of visits we replaced a ceiling fan, upgraded the switchboard with new circuit breakers, then returned to install a new three phase main switch, three phase surge protector and replace some older downlights with new LED downlights.

We love building long term relationships with our clients, so it’s always great when we get the opportunity to come back and help with the next project around the home.

It’s been a little while since our last recap, so here’s a look at what we’ve been getting up to over the past few weeks! 👊

It’s definitely been a busy few weeks with jobs all across Bacchus Marsh, Melton and the surrounding areas.

We’ve installed several EV chargers including Tesla, BYD and Evnex units, completed a number of switchboard upgrades with surge protection, installed CCTV systems, mounted TVs, installed Starlink systems, relocated NBN equipment and fitted a new TV antenna.

We’ve also completed bathroom renovations with heated towel rails, exhaust fans, heat lights and induction cooktop circuits, pre wired a large shed, completed the electrical fit out for a new pergola with large ceiling fans and lighting, and installed plenty of smoke alarms, downlights, ceiling fans, data points, power points and lighting upgrades.

It’s been a great mix of work over the past few weeks and we really appreciate everyone who continues to support NextGen Electricians. Thanks for trusting us with your homes, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the next few weeks bring.

Our new website has been live for a couple of months now, and we thought we’d share it with everyone who hasn’t had a chance to check it out yet. 👊

We managed to fit a fair bit into this week 👊

We kicked things off with a full switchboard upgrade complete with surge protection and a licensed electrical inspector visit, before jumping between TV reception fault finding, spotlight replacements and smoke alarm upgrades.

The rest of the week saw us install an Evnex E2 Core EV charger, replace 25 old halogen downlights with new LEDs, fit a new rangehood, install power points, quad power points, TV points, pendant lights and exhaust fans, along with a shed switchboard upgrade.

We also carried out an emergency mains box replacement with Powercor disconnecting the supply so we could safely replace the mains box before getting the property re-energised.

Another solid week on the tools with plenty of variety, and we’re ready to do it all again next week 👊

The best part of the job isn’t just getting the work done. It’s making sure our clients understand exactly what we’re doing and why 👊

For Lorena, we installed a new EV charger, completed a switchboard upgrade and sorted a few lighting issues around the home. Taking the time to answer questions and explain the options is something we believe is just as important as the installation itself.

Lorena, thanks for having Harley and Zac out, and for such a thoughtful review. We really enjoyed working with you and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

We spend all week installing EV chargers… so it was probably only a matter of time ⚡🚗

This weekend Chloe picked up her new BYD Sealion 7, so NextGen has officially joined the electric car club.

We were missing Jakob for four days this week after he took a big hit playing footy on the weekend, so it was just Harley and Zac holding down the fort until he was back on Friday.

Even with Jakob out for most of the week, we still managed to knock over five switchboard upgrades, all fitted with surge protection, ten smoke alarms, two EV charger installs including an EVnex E2 Core with solar functionality and an Ocular LTE, plus an eight camera CCTV system, shed wiring, external lighting, plenty of power points and a couple of renovation quotes for some exciting projects coming up.

It was great to have our golden boy back on Friday for a big day on the tools, and now we’re ready to crack back into another week.

One of those weeks where the jobs couldn’t have been much more different 👊

After kicking the week off with a screw through a tyre and an unscheduled stop at the tyre shop, it was back to business.

From EV chargers and CCTV systems through to ceiling fans, smoke alarms and lighting upgrades, there was a bit of everything on the schedule.

We installed a Tesla EV charger with surge protection, an Ocular EV charger, fitted a new wall oven, completed a new induction cooking circuit and mounted TVs with concealed cabling through the wall for a clean finish.

There were also plenty of smaller jobs throughout the week including ceiling fans, smoke alarms, light switches, power points, exhaust fans, double spotlights and downlight upgrades.

Away from the tools, the new work ute had its canopy fitted and is starting to come together as we get it set up for work.

A solid week all round and we’re looking forward to doing it all again next week.

It’s always a good feeling when a client recommends us to their family 👊

This job came from a referral and saw us install three new power points along with two interconnected hardwired smoke alarms with 10 year backup batteries for Glennis and Peter.

We’re lucky to receive so much support from locals recommending us to friends and family around Bacchus Marsh. It means a lot to a small business, and we’re grateful every time someone trusts us enough to pass our name on.
