This pool I have recently taken over from another company, would have to be one of the hardest to recover I have experienced. Black Algae imbedded in 100% of the grout lines of a mosaic tiled 70kL pool. This has taken allot of specialised chemicals and manual effort to remove. (The grout is meant to be dark grey/black, the white is the Algae dying.)

New Skimmer Box install.
Recently, our records showed a increase in chemical usage, which prompted further investigation. A hidden crack below the skimmer surface was the culprit. This kind of leak can quietly cost you hundreds (even thousands!) in chemicals and water loss over the year.
