Often overlooked but such a major player in residential building projects! As a small scale builder, scheduling, organising, and keeping to timeframes is a mammoth task. Not only are we dealing with people, we are also dealing with and manage a myriad of other small businesses and subcontractors to deliver that dream home, and that to the quality standard we set and “on time”, and that means that big And small things can have a knock on effect. No builder is immune to that, it’s how we deal with it.
For our Hawthorn project we were well organised early on and ordered the window package early on, but the recent weather has pushed the earthworks and concreting crews to the limit, resulting in significant delays.
Nonetheless, windows had to be delivered and we had to manage that on-site, say hello to Hawthorns new shiny blue teepee. It will keep the windows safe and dry until their big moment has arrived.
