Shout out to Chelsea Randall and Marijana Randall | MJ for again having us out this season to give the lawns a once over 🔥

Next up will be some irrigation replacement and repairs to get the system back to fully automated and trouble free.

First round of w**d control completed on this property today.

Getting the w**ds under control before we rip into it with a scarify and core next month. **d

There’s just something very satisfying about watching a corer in action in slow-mo 😆

We’re back! 🌱 Been quiet for a bit but the season’s kicked off and we’re pumped.

First up…..this TifTuf lawn got the scarify and core treatment to clear out the old buildup and let it breathe again. Client’s taking it from here, and it’s gonna look so good once it fills in.

It might look dead… but it’s far from it!

The Mckay Lawn Services HQ lawn may look like a heap of dead grass and a few w**ds, but underneath, Kikuyu is already making its comeback.

Today we verti-mowed the area to remove a heap of dead material and expose what’s really going on underneath.

Next step? Another glyphosate application, before we eventually dig the existing lawn out and start fresh.

Stay tuned…

Small yards? Sure. Big properties? Absolutely. Mckay Lawn Services handles it all, same quality, every time!

Mckay Lawn Services HQ is getting a makeover this season. 🌱

We’re teaming up with Ezi Lawns to replace the existing kikuyu, but before the new turf goes down, the old has to go.

If you’ve ever battled kikuyu, you’ll know it doesn’t disappear overnight. Eradicating it properly takes time, patience, and the right process. This is just one step in the process.

Stay tuned as we document the entire renovation from start to finish.

Tight access? No worries.

Our Billy Goat core aerator has a narrow footprint, allowing us to reach areas that larger machines simply can’t.

If you’ve been told your access is too tight, don’t rule out core aeration just yet. Get in touch and we’ll see what we can do to get the job done.
