I had a good day trailing my laser scarifier on one of the practice pitches at Adelaide Oval. The scarifier performed well but the clay was very sticky. It looks like it will be able to get the same results for cricket as it does for bowls, just a little slower.

Third survey today was at Sebastopol Bc for Scotty. Last season i took down a high area and the results showed the areas was about 4mm lower. I also marked rink 8 as there had been reports of bowls holding out. The numbers show the rink falls away which would be causing this.

Thanks to the D&D boys for letting me test my laser scarifier on the Brighton oval wicket today. It worked reasonably well but the cricket clay is by far much harder than a bowling green. I'll probably double the gap between blades to help them dig in a little more.

Today I laser levelled the wicket on Kingswood oval in Unley. Last winter I built a roller to help consolidate the clay and today was its first test. It went really well but could probably be a little heavier for maximum smoothness.
