WHAT ARE WE DOING DIFFERENTLY? ⚡️🔋

We aren’t the quickest installers in Adelaide.

We don’t have the biggest turnover, the flashiest showroom or a fleet of fancy electric vans.

And we definitely don’t have a $10k-a-week advertising budget.

But I’d back us as being one of the most passionate, consistent and genuinely invested teams in this industry.

For us, a solar and battery installation isn’t just about putting panels on the roof, hanging a battery on the wall and getting to the next job.

It’s about leaving the electrical installation safer than when we arrived.

It’s the little things that most homeowners will never see.

⚡ We consistently test the existing electrical installation.

⚡ We regularly repair or replace earth stakes that aren’t up to scratch.

⚡ We find and repair missing, damaged or poorly connected water pipe bonds — sometimes even after a previous “switchboard upgrade”.

⚡ We tighten and tug-test switchboard terminals, whether we worked on them or not we open a board we own the board 👍

⚡ We actively look for problems with the existing installation — poor workmanship, deteriorating cables, expired smoke alarms and anything else that could become an issue later.

Why?

Because once we’ve opened that switchboard and put our name on the job, we care about what we’re leaving behind.

Solar installers have developed a bit of a reputation for being rough, fast, in-and-out operators.

We’re trying to flip the script on that.

Electrical standards and compliance are genuinely a passion of mine. I make it my business to stay up to date with the standards covering both the electrical and renewable-energy sides of what we do.

I want every customer to know that after we’ve been through their home, we’ve done everything we reasonably can to improve its electrical safety — not just install another solar and battery system.

So next time you see that $3,999 solar package, don’t just ask:

“How cheap can I get it?”

Ask:

“What are these guys doing when nobody is looking?”

Because some of the most important parts of an electrical installation are the parts you’ll never see. ⚡️

Neat end result for very tight multi complex installation builder specified goodwe/BYD combo , laundry nook backing onto garage location selected as only suitable spot , thick-wall galvanised pipe mechanical protection to the internal wall cabling , 3d printed cable management cover that almost looks factory supplied and certainly should be !! Throwback to the good old days

The year is 2010, the premium feed in tarrif is ripe for the picking 54 cents, more than double the consumption rate at the time 👊

16 super efficient 190watt sun tech (pre first liquidation 🤣) solar panels are installed on your roof all facing north on a sub-frame aluminium strut Racking system with 2000 pentastar stainless hex fixings 😢😢

You have 4 parralel strings with a fuse combiner box directly exposed to the weather

Dc cable clipped like it’s AC
No segregation in the enclosure at the inverter ac and dc living together in harmony 🤞

Yet 16 years later it still works and the inverter goes for scrap before it fails , panels on the way to North Africa for micro-grid use

Back when men were men, cars were petrol and stuff was built to last 😢😢🫡

If you have been in the game aslong as me and had the pleasure of going full circle on stuff like this (original install and replacement 16 years later, here’s a cheers to you 🍻🍻👊)
