Just wrapped up this timber bay window restoration. As you can see in the photos, the corners were completely rotted out, but you don't always need to replace the entire frame if you catch it in time.

​We dug out the soft wood, filled and sanded it back to a sharp edge, and finished it with a clean exterior coat.

SMOKE DAMAGED HOME – TRANSFORMATION (PART 1)

We recently started working on an older home that had years of smoke damage, large wall cracks, and areas that hadn’t been maintained for a long time.
This wasn’t just a repaint.
Before any paint went on, we had to properly prepare everything: • Repair major cracks through the walls
• Patch damaged plaster
• Sand surfaces back smooth
• Seal in the smoke stains so they don’t bleed through
Only after that could we start painting.
The before and afters here show just how much of a difference proper preparation makes. Once everything is repaired and coated properly, the whole space feels cleaner, brighter, and brought back to life.
This is just the first stage of the house — we’ll be sharing more as we continue through the rest.

✨ Cottage Refresh – Before & After ✨
We recently had the opportunity to repaint part of a beautiful, very old Adelaide cottage full of character and history.
The timberwork had started to weather and the windows needed some proper prep and repairs — including fixing sections of rot before bringing everything back to life.
After careful preparation, sanding, repairs and fresh coats, the cottage now has a clean, refreshed look while still keeping its original charm.
