In alignment with the contract agreement between the Ministry of Water and Energy (MEW) and Geo Search Construction and Engineering Company, the geotechnical investigation for the Zamber Flood Control and Water Reservoir Dam in Khost Province officially commenced today.

The launch ceremony was honored by the presence of the Minister of Water and Energy, the Governor of Khost Province, representatives of the local community, and the dedicated team from Geo Search. This milestone marks the beginning of a critical phase in the project, reflecting a shared commitment to sustainable development, regional resilience, and engineering excellence.
With a proven track record in the geotechnical investigation of major infrastructure projects—including dams, roads, bridges, and buildings—Geo Search stands as a trusted partner in delivering engineering excellence. 5. Construction Materials and Borrow Areas Survey and Investigation.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward the successful realization of the Zamber Dam project, reinforcing the shared vision of building a safer, more resilient, and sustainable future.

The sieve analysis determines the gradation (the distribution of aggregate particles, by size, within a given sample) in order to determine compliance with design, production control requirements, and verification specifications. The gradation data may be used to calculate relationships between various aggregate or aggregate blends, to check compliance with such blends, and to predict trends during production by plotting gradation curves
graphically, to name just a few uses. Used in conjunction with other tests, the sieve analysis is a very good quality control and quality acceptance tool.
