For all these years that I've seen our South Indian colleagues and friends celebrate Onam, I would wish them well but never truly understood the philosophy behind it. So, I did a little digging, and here's what I found:
"At its heart, Onam reflects an ideal of a just, egalitarian, and prosperous society — Mahabali's rule is remembered as a golden age of equality, honesty, and abundance where 'all people were equal' and no one suffered."
What a beautiful ideal to celebrate. On behalf of our EMSOL team, I wish all our friends and colleagues who celebrate Onam continued prosperity and joy — and I hope, in some small way, that spirit of justice and equality reaches people everywhere.

Sin not to have solar in UAE
With plenty of sunshine all most every day, high electricity bills particularly for cooling, one can still see a lot of rooftops without solar panels across the UAE. I think it is a sin not to have solar in UAE specially if you are paying high electricity bill and you have suitable roof over your head!
